This bearing, or ball bearing, is generally used in metal or fibre chassis and, recently, some brands have incorporated it as standard in some of their models. Also, and very recently, some brands manufacture angle benches (engine mounts) prepared to use ball bearings.
This new reference -SP055002- is of higher quality than its counterpart -SP055000- and should not be used, due to its higher cost, if we do not require better performance.
IMPORTANT: The bearing is already properly lubricated at the factory, but this lubrication is not “for life” and it will be necessary to lubricate it at the first use and regularly to maintain its performance and durability. Lubricate both sides before each race with LUBBOIL No. 6 -preferably-, LUBBOIL No. 1 or another specific one for ball bearings.
Remember to wipe off any excess to avoid staining the track or internal parts of the car.
