DACO DECALSETTING HARD
APPLICATION INSTRUCCIONS:
Apply a gloss varnish coating over the entire model.
With a matt surface you’ll simulate the effect of silvering, being thousands of micro air bulbs trapped between the ‘rough’ matt surface and the decal.
Place the decal on the model. Dip the surplus water off and let the decal dry so it remains on the required place (otherwise the decal will swin away from its place when there’s too much water and Decalsetting around the decal).
SOFT.: usable for very thin decals (ALPS, home made…)
MEDIUM.: usable on every normal / standard decal.
STRONG.: for thick decals and heavy duty work
shake bottle before applying “Decalsetting” on top of the decal. There’s no real need to place it under decal too.
DO NOT TOUCH the decal once you’ve put “Decalsetting” on the decal, as the decal will become soft and will DISFORME IRREPAIRABLE.
If you want to replace the decal, put quickly some water on top of the decal. Be very carefull during the replacement.
After a few hours the decak will be set on the model, following nicely around the curves and into the panels. Let the product do its work for a few more extra hours or an overnight.
Aplly as last a protecting coat of (matt or satin) varnish over the entire model.
