ASTON MARTIN DBR1 – WINNER 24 HEURES DU MANS 1959
The Aston Martin DBR1 is a mythical model of the English brand. To date, this is the brand’s only victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The n°5 of Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori crossed the finish line in the lead, closely followed by the n°6 of French drivers Maurice Trintignant and Paul Frère. The #4 of Stirling Moss and Jack Fairman retired after just 70 laps.
