FERRARI 246 SP – TARGA FLORIO 1961

The Ferrari 246 SP was the first mid-engined Ferrari, it won the World Championship for Brands and its history will fascinate you.
We chose it after a lot of research and documentation, and also with the invaluable help of two friends who are specialists in the Targa Florio and who guided us wisely from the first minute. We are infinitely grateful to you. Without Karsten and Matthias this replica would not exist.
We are looking at a brand new model in slot cars, the Ferrari 246 SP, winner of the 1961 Targa Florio at the hands of Olivier Gendebien and Wolfgang Von Trips. We have respected the 1:32 scale as much as possible, with a reproduction that we have modeled completely by hand, taking care of the smallest detail Made entirely in our workshop in Sabadell, near Barcelona, in a completely handcrafted way.
Our Ferrari 246 SP is meticulously manufactured with the highest quality materials, and machined with a 3D chassis also designed and manufactured in-house. It also features calibrated axles, turned aluminum rims, a calibrated crown and a slim engine for a better reproduction of the passenger compartment.
Apart from Von Trips at the wheel, we wanted to reproduce the scene in which, after winning the race, Olivier Gendebien climbs into the 246 SP to head for the podium. To this end, we have included a detailed replica of the Belgian driver, ready to sit on the rear hood just as he did on April 30, 1961. (Each unit includes one figure stored under the display stand for optimal shipping.)
Finally, for the presentation, we continue with our usual wooden trunk-type box with a diorama representing the race, to which we add a new feature, by popular demand: Lifting supports for displaying the diorama in the wooden box. From this model, all future references will incorporate it. However, these supports can be purchased separately by requesting them by email for those who have previous models and wish to display them with their original box.
The triptych that completes the box and contains a summary of the history of the model again includes a sheet drawn in pencil and pen by the master Diego Serrano.
