MIRAGE M1 N°15 – 24 HEURES DU MANS 1967
The first Mirage appeared at Le Mans during testing in April 1967. It was the first prototype created by John Wyer Automotive Engineering which, instead of creating a new model, preferred to improve the GT 40, which had proven itself in endurance racing before Ford withdrew from the World Brands Championship.
The #14 Mirage M1 retires after 59 laps. The #15 Mirage M1 is the eighth car to retire after 29 laps of the race.
