The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa is one of the most beautiful cars in history, and well known throughout the world. This has made it a particularly difficult challenge for us, because we had to make a reproduction that was up to par. To achieve this, we have dedicated months to the study of original plans, replicas, variations, modifications, chassis numbers… Managing to create an accurate 1/32 scale replica, machined for slot with precision. As always, all development and manufacturing has been carried out by hand in our Sabadell workshop.
The complicated size of this Ferrari have made us design an exclusive chassis, manufactured in 3D in our workshop, and whose characteristics give it a noble and fun driving despite what the measurements might lead you to think.
The decoration chosen was the 1958 Targa Florio, our first “Targa”, something we had wanted for a long time. Piloted by the controversial Mike Hawthorn, and by one of the great “gentleman” in history Wolfgang Von Trips. We have sat Hawthorn behind the wheel, for a nice anecdote, and that is that his uniform matches the colors of the Colla Castellera of our city.
We once again have the collaboration of the renowned artist Diego Serrano, who has made a magnificent pencil and pen sheet that illustrates a scene from the Targa Florio of 1958. This sheet, along with a diorama also designed and manufactured by Modelant, are included along to the luxurious walnut trunk-type wooden box.

FERRARI 250 TESTA ROSSA
Undoubtedly, one of the most iconic Ferraris of all time is the 250 Testa Rossa. Created on the basis of the 500 TRC to adapt to the changes that the Comissione Sportiva Internazionale was going to make to the regulations, the driveability of the frame was exploited, adding a much more powerful V12 engine and a body designed by Scaglietti characterized by the open front wheel arch, which was nicknamed the “pontoon fender”. The 250 Testa Rossa won the Constructors’ World Championship in 1958.
The unit you are holding in your hands reproduces the one that finished in third position in the 1958 Targa Florio, driven by Mike Hawthorn, who would become Formula 1 World Champion with Ferrari that same year, and by Wolfgang Von Trips, who was a silent knight, who should have become Formula 1 champion. A race in which they kept fighting for the first position in a tough race with more than 12,000 turns that combined mechanical and physical resistance.
This model is developed and manufactured entirely by hand in our workshop in a limited series of only 150 units.
